- the participants and performers who have once again shown us the abundant talent pool we have in "Arang" .
- the participants and performers once again for devoting time and effort and coming up with sterling performances.
- the volunteers without whose help the logistics could have easily failed.
- the sponsors for providing financial support to "Arang's" endeavours through the year.
- the honorary guests for their esteemed presence and inspiring words of encouragement.
- the members for turning up in large numbers for the event, for cheering and encouraging the performers.
Last, but not the least.....the EXCOM 2009 team for all the hard work put into facilitating the event."Varnoltsavam 2009" was conceived by EXCOM 2009 to depict the rich culture of our motherland. Our members with their sterling performances added their own charm to this rich cultural extravaganza.We would like to reiterate what we have maintained throughout the past year......."Arang" is a platform for members to display their now apparent abundant talents.

Onam 2009
Onam
Arangites Onam in 2009 was very special for three reasons…….
After many years, most of us celebrated Onam back home in "God's own country" with our loved ones.
And then we celebrated Onam again with the Arang family right here in Al Khor on the auspicious "Gandhi Jayanthi".
Arang EXCOM 2009 with help from members added colour to this special festival by conducting some special programmes.
"Onapattukal",
Karaoke singing,
Kaikottikali,
highlight of the day "Onam ormagal skit" performed by the kids.
and of course the delicious traditional "Onasadya".
