Mahila Arang - 2013

Arang started it's 2013 events with 'Mahila Arang' on 16th February, an evening get-together for the lady members. The 'Introductory Yoga' session by Mrs. Praveena Vinodkumar was very lively and was enjoyed by all the attendees.

Arang is the cultural forum of malayalees employed with Rasgas and Qatargas. Arang is the only recognised and approved Malayalee organization based in Al-Khor Community.

It has in excess of 150+ families as members. Arang aims at enriching the cultural life of the pravasi Malayalee by encouraging and bringing out the artistic, sports and cultural talents in members.

Arang also provides ample opportunity and serves as a platform for our children to display their talents.

In addition to celebrating all seasonal festivals of Kerala, Arang also conducts Art Festivals, Dance festivals, an Annual Get-together, Indoor and outdoor sports festivals and picnics for members and their families.

Arang also conducts variety programs every year in which sometimes artists and stars from our home country participate. Arang's activities and programs are scheduled either on weekends or on holidays and food is mostly served during the program. This makes it convenient for members to attend regardless of where they are stationed.

Arang is where you get the chance to make new friends with whom you can recollect and share those golden moments spent in our mother land..
